The Executive Golf Courses
The Executive Golf Courses in The Villages provide endless fun with more than 40 nine-hole courses scattered throughout the community. These courses are primarily par-3, with the occasional par-4 or par-5, offering a welcoming and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Each course features three sets of tees, making the game approachable and fun for everyone.
The Executive Courses are rated on a 1–4 scale, though none of these nine-hole courses currently have GHIN slope or index ratings.
Two Executive Courses are available for group nighttime play (minimum 36 players). Night golf is offered at Saddlebrook on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and at Escambia on Wednesday and Friday.
The Championship Golf Courses
The Villages currently features 12 Championship Golf Clubs. As a resident or as a Temporary Lifestyle Resident with a valid ID, you automatically become a club member. Each club offers a full range of amenities, including a clubhouse, restaurants, driving and putting ranges, golf academies, pools and spas, custom club shops, tennis courts, and more.
Specialty Golf
In addition to the 9-hole Executive Courses and the 18–27-hole Championship Clubs, The Villages offers specialty golf options, including “Pitch & Putt” short courses. These are located in the Village of Fenney and the Village of Marsh View. Reservations for Pitch & Putt courses are made the same way as for any other golf course in the community.
